    About the aircraft:

The Falco is an Italian designed, low wing, all wood contruction aircraft with retractable gear and a constant speed prop. It features a one piece laminated wood spar. More information on pricing follows the description below.

I purchased from the aircraft's builder in Dwight Lapeare in July 2004.

Airframe 200 hours total time, engine 200 hours smoh. Fuel capacity: Front tank 20 US gal., Rear tank 18 US gal.

In 2005, Nantel Aviation performed an extensive annual. Over $20,000 was invested into this aircraft with Included in this annual were:

    Engine:

    • Lycoming O320, 150hp. Can run 100LL or Auto gas. I've used 100LL exclusively while I've owned the aircraft.
    • New engine mounts and bolts
    • 2 Slick magnetgo kit K4516, including new plugs and wires
    • New 4 into 1 stailess steel exhaust system including new hardware and cabin heat muffs
    • Carberator overhauled by AeroPerformance Moteur
    • All Engine compartment hoses replaced with new hoses
    • All Hydraulic hoses for landing gear replaced with new hoses
    • New scat tubing installed
    • New wiring for spark plugs
    • All controls rigged and safetied

    Airframe:

    • All flexible hoses on retract landing gear replaced with new hoses
    • New hoses on brake system
    • New tire on nose wheel
    • New bolts installed on landing gear torque links
    • New aircraft grade wire for battery started & alternator

In February 2007, installed Hartzell properllor HC-C2YK-1-B serial # CH115 following overhaul inspection performed by Aviation BL The aircraft has been maintained by Nantel Aviation since 2005.

Originally when I purchased this aircraft, my plan was to redo the canopy, cowling, and move the a digital panel. For the right homebuilder, FKWF provides a low-cost oppotunity to Falco ownership. If you check the market for Falco's, you'll find most are listed between $75,000 & $115,000 US. You can see current aircraft listed for sale on Sequia's web site.
